MARCATTO MEETING
Classical music accessible to diverse audiences and venues.
The Marcatto Encounter is an ongoing cultural project conceived by the Lumiarte Institute, with the aim of promoting classical music in its diverse forms and contexts. Each edition reinvents itself, bringing distinct attractions that encompass a broad repertoire of classical music, from compositions of historical periods to contemporary pieces. With monthly performances, the project stands out for its diverse musical ensembles, ranging from soloists to large groups, all united by excellence and a passion for the art.

One of the unique aspects of the Marcatto Encounter is its itinerant nature, with performances held in different cities and cultural spaces over time, creating opportunities for new audiences to access high-quality classical music. Each edition takes place in different locations, such as theaters, cultural centers, and public squares, reinforcing the Lumiarte Institute's commitment to democratizing access to culture and encouraging engagement with instrumental music in diverse settings.

Beyond its artistic mission, the Marcatto Encounter also seeks to foster cultural exchange between musicians of different generations and regions. The event transforms into a space for exchanging experiences, where artists at different stages of their careers can share knowledge, techniques, and experiences. This dialogue between musicians with diverse backgrounds and trajectories enriches both the participants and the audience, creating a learning environment.
